April 17 | Revelations of Divine Love Screening

The Pearl Kibre Medieval Study is pleased to announce a screening of the new feature film Revelations of Divine Love, and a Q&A between writer-director Caroline Golum and the English Department’s Cullin Arn to follow. The screening will take place on April 17th at 4pm in the English Department lounge, Room 4406.
Adapted from the 14th-century memoir of English mystic and anchoress Julian of Norwich, Revelations of Divine Love recounts religious ecstasy, political revolt, and plague through historical record and speculative fiction.
Revelations of Divine Love is Caroline Golum’s second feature film, following 2018’s A Feast of Man. She holds a BFA in Film and Video from the School of Visual Arts. When she is not working for the man, she is usually watching, writing about, or working on a movie.
Cullin Arn is a 4th year PhD student. She works on high-late medieval passion narratives, hagiographies, mystical texts and the various affects, body fluids, and effluvia that oscillate within them.
