Please join us for a two-day international conference organized by Prof. Eric Ivison on Zoom that may be of interest to medieval and ancient history students.
The focus of the conference is funerary archaeology at Byzantine Constantinople from the 4th through 15th centuries CE, which sheds light on the urban, social, religious, and cultural history of the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantium).  Scholars from several countries, including Prof. Ivison and colleagues at the University of Freiburg in Germany, are presenting.
