If you wish to submit an article for consideration in Eolas 18 (2025), the deadline is Friday, October 11. Submissions undergo double blind peer review prior to publication.
In addition to traditional research articles, Eolas offers other opportunities for researchers:
- Short Reports. 1000-3000 words on narrower research topics, such as a specific manuscript, artwork, or excavation. Short reports undergo expedited peer review and are due by December 31st.
- Barry Prize. For the best graduate student paper given at a conference. The author’s precis is published in the journal: graduate students in receipt of the Barry Prize thus get a money prize AND a publication!
- Digital Humanities Project Reviews. If you lead a project that you would like reviewed, or have a project to suggest for review, please contact us. Reviews are due by December 31st.
- Book reviews. If you have a book you wish to be reviewed, or wish to review a book for Eolas, please contact Book Reviews Editor Zenobie Garrett at [email protected]
