“Singing Truth to Power” is a new program of medieval and traditional protest music. Rousing, wry, and sublime – these tunes call on us all to continue the centuries-old tradition of resistance to corruption and oppression. The concert includes works from the Carmina Burana and the Roman de Fauvel, as well as the region of Brittany.

With Tracy Cowart (voice, harps, percussion), Ben Matus (voice, medieval bagpipes), David McCormick (vielle), Niccolo Seligmann (vielles, psaltery, gittern)and Sian Ricketts (voice, recorders, douçaines).
